Just wanted to bring back this awesome little SNL short from 1977 with John Belushi called Little Chocolate Donuts. With all of the health opinions out there, the miracle vitamin cures and the medicine commercials that claim to cure everything (I mean who sees a commercial and then goes to their doctor to demand to use that crtain drug), I like to remember a simpler time for medicine. A time where society was starting to realize the effects a poor diet and not exercising had on your body. No longer were doctors getting paid to promote certain types of cigarettes but kids could still cuddle that loving cartoon camel that was amazingly cool. You had the info to make smart decisions, but everyone wasn’t all in your face about it like 2020.
This particular funny video is about a man, who clearly is not a world class athlete…. but he still wins. And do you know why? It is because of CBD oil…. Just kidding that would be crazy. It is because of the little chocolate donuts he consumes every morning. Check out the video:
John Belushi was the absolute perfect person for this bit. The only exception is that I can see a fantastic Christ Farley commercial just like tis one. Like John, he didn’t take himself or his appearance too seriously.
A gold metal in the decathlon? A world record? No problem when you are cranking down delicious brown holes every morning. Tastes good and they have the sugar you need to get you going in the morning.
